Curbflick: Scoot Rush — Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 28, 2026 Developer: Alkeen LLC ("we", "us") Contact: [email protected]
This policy explains what information the mobile game Curbflick: Scoot Rush (the "Game") collects, why, and the choices you have. It applies to the Game on iOS and Android.
The short version
- You can play without creating an account. Your progress is saved on your device.
- We do not sell your personal information. The Game shows optional rewarded ads from Google AdMob; ads are personalized only if you agree to it (and, on iOS, allow tracking).
- We collect crash reports and anonymous gameplay statistics to fix bugs and improve the Game.
- If you sign in with Game Center (iOS) or Google Play Games (Android), your display name and scores appear on the Game's leaderboards.
- Purchases are handled by Apple or Google. We never see your payment card details.
1. Information stored on your device
| What | Why |
|---|---|
| Your Courier License: a random guest ID, a randomly generated player handle (e.g. "TURBO_COURIER19"), level, earnings, unlocks, ranks, settings | So you can keep playing and keep your progress. It is encrypted and stays on your device unless you sign in to Game Center or Google Play Games. |
| A small diagnostics file (recent errors and the last few in-game actions) | So you can share it with support if something goes wrong. It contains no personal information. |
Deleting the Game deletes this information from your device.
2. Information we collect
Crash and error reports (Firebase Crashlytics, provided by Google). When the Game crashes or hits an error we receive: the error and where it happened in the code, the device model, operating system version, app version, free memory and storage, a random installation identifier, the time, and a short list of what you were doing in the Game just before (for example "opened the Garage", "started a shift in Maple Grove"). This is used only to find and fix bugs.
Gameplay statistics (Google Analytics for Firebase). We record anonymous in-game events such as finishing the tutorial, ending a shift, clearing the finale, or making a purchase, along with device type, operating system, app version, a random app-instance identifier, and an approximate country/region that Google derives from your IP address. We use this to understand which parts of the Game people enjoy and where they get stuck. We do not use it to identify you, and we have turned off advertising features and advertising-identifier collection in Analytics.
Leaderboards (Apple Game Center / Google Play Games). If you choose to sign in, your platform display name, player ID and scores (shift records, clean-streak records, career earnings, Endless Shift records) are sent to Apple or Google to show on leaderboards. Their own privacy policies apply to those services.
Purchases (Apple App Store / Google Play). When you buy something in the Game, Apple or Google processes the payment. We receive only a confirmation of what was bought and a transaction ID, so we can deliver the item and restore it later. We never receive your name, card number or billing address.
Rewarded ads. Ads are provided by Google AdMob (https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads). Ads in the Game are optional: you choose to watch one to get a reward, and players who buy No Ads never see them. Google may collect device information and an advertising identifier to show and measure ads. In the EU, UK and other places where the law requires it, you are asked for consent first and can change your choice any time in Settings > Ad Privacy Choices; on iOS, the advertising identifier is used only if you allow tracking when asked.
We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, precise location, or microphone or camera data.
3. How we use information
To run the Game and keep your progress; to deliver and restore purchases; to show leaderboards; to find and fix crashes and bugs; to understand how the Game is played so we can improve it; and to answer you when you contact support.
4. Sharing
We share information only with the service providers that run these features for us: Google (Firebase Crashlytics and Analytics, AdMob for ads), Apple (Game Center, App Store) and Google (Play Games, Google Play). We may also disclose information if the law requires it. We do not sell or rent personal information.
5. How long we keep it
Crash reports are kept for 90 days. Analytics event data is kept for 2 months. Information on your device stays until you delete the Game.
6. Children
The Game is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
7. Your choices and rights
- Play as a guest: you never have to sign in.
- Delete your data: delete the Game to remove everything stored on your device. To ask us to delete crash or analytics data associated with your device, email us with the date you played and your device model; we will delete what we can identify within 30 days.
- Ad tracking: you can limit ad tracking in your device settings (iOS: Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking; Android: Settings > Privacy > Ads).
- Depending on where you live (for example the EU, UK or California) you may have rights to access, correct, delete or object to the use of your personal information. Email us and we will respond within the time the law requires.
8. Security
Your save file is encrypted and signed on your device. Data sent to our providers travels over encrypted connections. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
9. Changes
If we change this policy we will update the effective date above, and for significant changes we will let you know in the Game.
